Event Email Function Settings [EVENT MAIL]
An email can be sent to a specified email address when an event (e.g., print start, print end, and abort) occurs.
- SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encoding is not supported.
- Connect the LAN cable to use the event mail function.

Event email setting item
Settings: The default settings are shown underlined.
Mail Delivery [Delivery]
Settings: ON/OFF
- Sets whether event emails are sent.
Select Event [Event]
- PlotStart Event
Settings: ON/OFF - Sets whether an email is sent when cutting starts.
- Plot End Event
Settings: ON/OFF - Sets whether an email is sent when cutting ends.
- Error Event
Settings: ON/OFF - Sets whether an email is sent when an error occurs.
- Warning Event
Settings: ON/OFF - Sets whether an email is sent when a warning occurs.
Mail Addr.
Settings: Alphanumeric characters or symbols (Not more than 96)
- Set the email address to which event emails are to be sent.
Message Subject [Subject]
Settings: Alphanumeric characters or symbols (Not more than 8)
- Sets the text used as the event email subject.
Server Setup [SERVER]
- SMTP Address
- Sets the SMTP server.
- SMTP Port No.
- Sets the SMTP port number.
- Sender Address [Sender Adr.]
Settings: Alphanumeric characters or symbols (Not more than 64) - Sets the email sender address. Depending on the server used, it may not be possible to send emails unless an email address corresponding to the server account is set.
- Setting an email address corresponding to the server account allows emails to be sent.
- Authentication [Auth.]
Settings: OFF/POP before SMTP/SMTP Auth. - Sets the SMTP server authentication method.
- User Name
Settings: Alphanumeric characters or symbols (Not more than 30) - Sets the user name used for authentication.
- This can be set when [Auth.] is not set to "OFF".
- Pass Word
Settings: Alphanumeric characters or symbols (Not more than 15) - Sets the password used for authentication. The value currently set is not displayed on the password setting screen. Only a new password can be entered.
- This can be set when [Auth.] is not set to "OFF".
- POP3 Addr.
- Sets the POP server. Set the server name or IP address.
- This can be set when [Auth.] is set to "POP before SMTP".
- APOP
Settings: ON/OFF - Enables and disables APOP.
- This can be set when [Auth.] is set to "POP before SMTP".
Transmit Test [Test]
- Sends a test email.
Enable the event email function.
- Press the [FUNCTION] key in local mode.
- Use to select [SET UP], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [EVENT MAIL], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key twice.
- Select [ON] on the [Delivery] screen, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Press the [END] key several times to exit.
Set the event for which event emails are to be sent.
- Press the [FUNCTION] key in local mode.
- Use to select [SET UP], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [EVENT MAIL], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [Event], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to enable or disable [PlotStart Event], [Plot End Event], [Warning Event], and [Error Event], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.

- Press the [END] key several times to exit.
Set the email address and subject.
- Press the [FUNCTION] key in local mode.
- Use to select [SET UP], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [EVENT MAIL], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [Mail Addr.], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- The [Mail address] screen is displayed.
- Use to set the email address, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Set the email address to which event emails are to be sent.
- Not exceeding 96 alphanumeric characters or symbols
- Use to select [Subject], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- The [Message subject] screen appears.
- Use to set the message subject, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Set the text to be used as the event email subject.
- Not exceeding 8 alphanumeric characters or symbols
- Press the [END] key several times to exit.
Set the server.
- Press the [FUNCTION] key in local mode.
- Use to select [SET UP], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [EVENT MAIL], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [Server], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Set [SMTP Addr.], [SMTP Port], [Sender Adr.], and [Auth.], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.

- If "OFF" is selected for [Auth.], press the [END] key several times to exit.
- Set [User Name], [Pass Word], [POP3 Addr.], and [APOP], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
