Setting the Computer Connection Conditions
Set the communication conditions for the RS-232C interface.
The communication condition settings differ according to the command (AUTO, MGL-Ⅰc1, MGL-Ⅱc) set using command switching.
- If the step size has been altered, be sure to raise the pinch rollers using the clamp lever and reload the sheet.
- Press the [FUNCTION] in local mode, press to select [SET UP], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Press to select [INTERFACE], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Pressto select [BAUD RATE] setting value, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Settings: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 (bps)
- The recommended setting is 38400.
- Set the host computer transfer speed to suit the CG-AR.
- Pressto select the following communication conditions in turn, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Pressto select the setting, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key to display the following items. Repeat the steps in turn until all settings have been set.
- Communication conditions: Data bits, parity, stop bit, handshake, step size, close time
- Press to select the setting, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.

- Press the [END] key several times to exit.
