Aligning the Register Mark Sensor Position
The offset between the cutter and register mark sensor can be adjusted.
Up to 8 correction value types can be registered. When multiple types of media are used, the register mark detection position may shift in a specific direction depending on the media characteristics. Select a media number in the register mark detection settings and register the most suitable adjustment values for that media, and the adjustment values for that media will be applied only by selecting the media number.
- Attach a cutter to the cutter holder.
- Load a sheet on which register marks are printed.
- Creating Register Marks
- Press on the local mode screen.
- The machine switches to jog mode.
- Use to move the pen nib close to the center of the register mark detection position.
- Register mark detection should be performed at a position at least 1 mm from the register mark.

- Press the [FUNCTION] key in local mode.
- Use to select [MARK sensor], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Use to select [SENSOR OFS], then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- Check to confirm that a media number in the register mark detection settings is selected and the current correction values are displayed, then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- After (one) register mark has been detected, auxiliary lines are cut for the register mark center lines together with five auxiliary lines at 0.2 mm intervals on either side of the center lines.
- Use to enter the A direction correction value (mm) and to enter the B direction correction value (mm), then press the [ENTER/HOLD] key.
- If the offset is +0.2 mm, enter "-0.2".
- The correction amount is saved and the system returns to local mode.
- The settings are retained even when the power is turned off.
- The sensor offset set using this operation will not be reset by [SETUP RESET].
